About MH-CET Exam

MH CET Law, is additionally referred to as Maharashtra Common Entrance test Law. The entrance test is organized by the conducting authority to provide admission to the eligible candidates in 3 years LLB and 5 years of integrated LLB courses. State Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai is that the conducting authority to conduct the entrance test for the eligible candidates. The entrance examination is conducted every year. The entrance test is conducted at the state level for the eligible candidates. Candidates who wish to appear in MH CET law exam must meet the eligibility criteria for the law programs prescribed by the Directorate of Higher Education, Maharashtra. MH CET 3-year LLB and MH CET 5-year LLB is different in terms of educational qualifications.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate must have passed the Class 12 exams or an equivalent examination from a recognized board or institution to appear in MH CET 5-year LLB exam and Candidates must have completed or appearing graduation in any discipline from any university recognized by the government of Maharashtra for the MH CET 3-year LLB exam. As regards minimum percentage of marks in the qualifying examination, the candidates must have secured: 45% marks or its equivalent grade in case of candidates belonging to General / PWD / NRI / PIO / OCI categories and 40% marks or equivalent in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST categories and 42% marks in case of SBC and OBC of Maharashtra. There are over 140 law colleges and universities that participate in MH CET law 2023. Admission to all these courses will be on the basis of merit cum preference.
